House mover Bill Groves knew there must be an easier, quicker and safer way to load trailers
So he designed and patented the ground loading trailer technology and the new 2010 product range that includes a horse float, car trailer, machine trailer, furniture trailer, and a live-stock trailer.

When Bill Groves worked as a house remover, he saw that many hours were spent raising and lowering the load onto trailers. His search for the ultimate way to move houses lead him to design the ultimate way to move almost any small load, and that was at ground level. Ground Loading Trailers was created in Bill’s home garage, where he constructed the first working model from plastic icecream containers, cardboard, drawing pints and milk-bottle tops. Following many hours of research, design and engineering (three years), the Ground Loading Trailer prototype was built and field tested in New Zealand.
